In an effort to hit a particular goal before the year's end, I ran again today. Nancy and I headed out into the darkness a little after 6:30 PM, armed with reflective clothes and my new Hexbright flashlight, which was a graduation gift from TJ.

The flashlight performed admirably, as did my freshly-rooted MotoACTV fitness watch. It's an Android device, and I'd been wanting to add some software to it after marathon season was over. Tonight was the first trial of MotoACTV TCX Exporter, and it works great. I think Motorola is winding down support for the MotoACTV, and the official portal has never been very reliable. This exporter automatically generates TCX files on the watch itself, which I can then upload directly to my favorite tracker, SportsTrackLive.

Planning for one more run in 2012...

Nancy and I took a 4-mile loop around town this morning. Houghton is quite the ghost town today. Here's me doing something superhero-like in the middle of the street.

Now time for a nap before dinner. Happy assorted winter holidays, folks! 

371.2 miles logged for 2012 so far. I kinda doubt I'll be able to hit 400, but who knows.
